New Ride!

Jim and Kathy have great bikes... cruisers, that they planned to take on the road with us. Jim's new bike reminds him of his first communion bike from back in the day! Dave has an old bike and is planning on taking that one. I did not have a bike so today I went out and found this baby...
Sweet, right? I will be one of the gang now! I even found a basket for the front and can't wait to ride to Trader Joe's tomorrow for my grocery needs!
I can hear the catchy tune in my head of the witch on the bike in the Wizard Of Oz.... can you?

Last Plans are made!

This past winter, Jim, Kathy, Dave and I decided this would be the year we would take a ROAD TRIP together! On a cold winters day, we ventured to Neff Brothers RV to see just want they had available for rent!

We checked out many Class A and Class C rvs before deciding that we needed to definitely go with the bigger Class A style! You know... the big ones that look like a bus! I did not have my camera with me, duh, so excuse the poor quality phone photos!

We choose the Damon Daybreak...

Kathy and Dave discuss the features on board!

Our big and tall husbands, Jim and Dave, sure liked the spacious driving quarters!

Even the bathroom had a pretty big shower stall!

We could see ourselves having romantic dinners at this dinette table!

Maybe a movie or two?

Plenty of room in the kitchen for Kathy and I to whip up some wonderful dinners for us all!

Look closely, Jim really liked the bedrooms queen size bed! We plan to each have the bedroom for a week while the other couple sleeps on the sofa bed in front cabin!

The decision is made... the Daybreak is the one!

We had several planning meetings to get things under way. The last was this past Friday! We think all systems are a GO!

Now all that is left to do is shop till we drop!
Follow our blog as we hit the road together! We will share all the details, some exciting, some not so much, but be assured you will see it all here on the ROAD RASH 2011 BLOG! We plan on visiting Mount Rushmore, Sturgis, Yellowstone, Grand Canyon and to travel home on the fabulous Rt 66!

What could be more fun?
